Abstract

Adamovych Sergiy. Problems of achieving the unity of Ukraine at the present stage of state formation. The article examines that the main risks to the country's unity are the aggressive policy of the Russian authorities, which is embodied both by direct military aggression in the Crimea and Donbas, and by means of hydride information intervention and through the influence of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine. The spiritual unity of Ukrainians is also hindered by the remnants of Soviet consciousness among citizens and the failed implementation of state policy. The threats to the country's unity will be eliminated as decentralization of governance is completed, effective national policies are implemented, lasting economic ties are established within the country, and domestic tourism is developed.
