Короткий огляд (реферат): The article deals with paradigmatics in low colloquial language as a translation problem. The matter of translatability of French structurally marked low colloquial words is examined. The ways and methods of rendering the structural connotation expressively charged colloquial component of M. Houellebecq’s novel “The Elementary Particles” in the Ukrainian translation are analysed.
