Abstract

Adamovych S. Social-economic and political crisis in Ukraine at the beginning of 1990s as a factor of the state’s disintegration. The article analyses the impact of the social-economic and political crisis in Ukraine in early 1990s of the XX century on consolidation processes in the society. The author argues that social-economic catastrophe and unsuccessful restructuring of the Ukrainian state power in the process of statehood formation slowed down the unification of the Ukrainian nation and enhanced disintegrating tendencies in the country’s regions
