dc.description.abstractAbstract: Ukrainian piano art is an important phenomenon in context General musical processes of national culture and it has long and multifaceted development history (on stylistic elements and individual achievements). There is well-presented group of different cyclical compositions among the works of Ukrainian artists that include works of sonata type, variation cycles and cycles of miniatures of different internal organization. The last group is represented by suites, partitas, program cycles of suite type, monogenre cycles, experimental compositions and didactic works. In the article there are highlighted kinds of relationships between traditions and innovation and original genre concepts on the example of suites and partitas of Ukrainian composers of the last third of the twentieth century.uk_UA
