Аграрне питання в соціальній політиці ОУН-УПА в 40-50 рр. ХХ ст.

Abstract

Adamovych S. Agrarian issues in social policy of the OUN and UPA in 40–50-ies of the XX century. The agrarian question in social policy of the OUN and the UPA is analyzed in the article. The author proves that the Ukrainian nationalists in 40–50-ies of the XX century cared about social liberation of the peasants, were in favor of giving them the landlord and collective farm land, planned comprehensive support from the state, primarily of the medium-sized private farms. The OUN did not limit ownership of the land but allowed government intervention to prevent economic exploitation of the Ukrainian land landowners. After the occupation of the Western Ukraine by USSR in 1944 the UPA focused its efforts on the fight against the introduction of the collective farm system in the countryside
