Abstract: The article substantiates the technology of students’ posture correction taking into consideration the level of its biogeometric profile. The technology comprises three stages – preparative, correctional, and supporting, each fulfilling appropriate tasks and presupposing the use of fifteen differently targeted complexes of physical exercises. The content of physical training classes has been worked out involving exercises of various fitness systems. The technology efficiency criteria include the analysis of the level of the posture biogeometric profile, as well as of the students’ body parameters and physical goniometry. As s part of the developed technology we regard the pedagogical control allowing teachers to monitor, measure and evaluate the level of the posture biogeometric profile, physical goniometry, as well as the students’ physical performance in physical training. The evaluation of the implementation of the proposed technology was done according to the performance criteria. The experiments confirmed the effectiveness of the elaborated technology and gives us reasons to recommend it for use during the physical training classes at the higher education establishments. The research results were implemented in the educational process of the Department of Physical Education of the Private Institution of Higher Learning “Galytska Academiya”, the Department of Physical Education of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, the Department of Physical Education for Humanitarian Faculties of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, the Department of Physical Education of Ternopil National Economic University. The results implementation is confirmed by relevant documents.
