Abstract

Memorialization of the burial places of the Slovak military army of Austria-Hungary during the First World War on the territory Ivano-Frankivsk region Abstract: The article analyzes the participation of the military units of the Austro-Hungarian army, which were formed from Slovaks, in combat operations on the territory of the Ivano-Frankivsk region during the First World War, as well as the current state of military burials of the dead Slovak soldiers in the region.The scientific report also summarizes the cooperation of the Ukrainian public and scientific sector with the state and public organizations of Slovakia in the restoration of Slovak military graves of the First World War. The author believes that the restored places of memory will contribute to the development of event and historical and educational tourism, will serve as a basis for international cross-border projects and the development of Slovak-Ukrainian interstate cooperation
