Abstract: The article deals with the Ukrainian-Polish linguistic connections and analyzes feminitives of Polish origin that penetrated the Ukrainian lexicon in different historical periods, were stored or lost at the Ukrainian ground, and left a significant reflection on the feminitive subsystem of the old Ukrainian period. The first feminitive-polonizm appeared in the Ukrainian language of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, increased significantly in the seventeenth to eighteenth centuries, and in the future, to a small extent, they replenished Ukrainian vocabulary and mostly feminitive, motivated masculinatives of Polish origion.
