Use of ICT and folk decorative and applied arts in the process of professional training of future teachers

Abstract

The article highlights thepossibilities of using ICT and folkdecorative and applied arts inprofessional training of futureteachers.The use of ICT anddecorative and applied arts in theprocess of training future teachers,in the course of artistic and laboractivities, in particular, forms positivemotives for learning. Future teachersfeel the need to know the history andartistic traditions of the native land(at the stage of choosing the objectof work, clarifying its purpose,methods of decoration in accordancewith regional peculiarities, etc.), theyare eager to master the basics ofartistic techniques and technologies (at the stage of manufacturing anddecoration the object of labor), theylearn to justify the economic feasibility of the manufactureddecorative and applied article, etc.It is generalized that in the processof professional training of futureteachers the most effective use of ICTand folk decorative and applied artsoccurs in the course of the study ofartistically creative and design-technological subjects usingaudiovisual aids in teaching whichtogether with other equipment form asystem of a dynamic design, forinstance, of technological process ofmanufacturing decorative and appliedarts article. It is emphasized that the processof professional training of future teachers must be provided with up-to-date material and technicalfacilities, connection to the Interne.
